Social F.I.E.L.D is a youth club for young people with ASD and other related social difficulties. We encourage young people to form social circles whilst having fun and enjoying various activities in a safe environment.
We have had to suspend our usual sessions at Horsford Village Hall and, after much consideration, we don’t realistically believe we can return safely in the immediate future. But, here’s the good news…..
We’re Zooming in on Social F.I.E.L.D!
We are using the time to chat about experiences and activity, explore ideas for club sessions and support our members with anxieties and negative response to change in these very challenging times.
We’re also doing things like indoor scavenger hunts, quizzes, art and competitions and offer lots of support to ensure our young people have the opportunity to engage and grow.
We ask that all attendees are pre-booked for their first visit so that we are able to manage capacity in a safe and enjoyable way so please contact us to confirm your interest.
Parent and carers are very welcome to come too until the young person has settled in to the group.
There is no charge as we are supported by our amazing funders Children In Need!
We run on a weekly basis and will continue throughout the school holidays when many other services are unable to continue to offer provision and we’re looking forward to 2021 when we hope to return to enjoying trips such as cinema, bowling and outdoor summer activities
